Officer in Charge of Urban Development Division Infrastructure & Urban Development Department (PICU) African Development Bank
Mr. Atchia has over 20 years of experience in urban development, transport and infrastructure policies.. He has started his career as technical advisor to the Government of Mauritius in the field of Transportation (engineering, planning and capacity building), which included eight years at the Ministry of Public Infrastructure and Transport and two years at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development. Currently he is responsible for Transport Policy and Planning at Urban Development Division at African Development Bank. He has contributed to projects on a global scale with detailed input into the end-to-end lifecycle from strategic planning, analysis, and road mapping, through to execution, and support.
