Rebecca is a qualified Project Manager and Business Analyst with a Master´s degree of Business Administration (cum laude) (from Nelson Mandela University Business School) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Systems (from the University of Botswana) respectively. Rebecca is currently at the South African Cities Network serving as the Innovation Program Manager - a portfolio that ensures collaboration and innovation across SACN’s programmatic work by developing and driving urban data and smart cities initiatives, supporting cities develop and implement long-term city development strategies, driving the SACN’s flagship publication – "the State of City Report" as well supporting the CEO drive SACN’s Pan-African agenda. On a personal level, as an active youth, she is an avid multi-sport athlete with great passion for swimming, cycling, and running having completed a number of IROMAN races, Ultra Marathon running events, endurance stage racing cycling as well as tough Ocean racing series. Rebecca is mother of 3 daughters with great passion for life and derives fulfilment by uplifting others. She is a Kenyan by birth and by choice a global citizen residing in South Africa.
